About Me:
Hola, I’m Mayra Mora, MS, RDN, the dietitian behind The Happy Hormones Nutrition.
I became a Registered Dietitian after earning my Bachelor’s degree, completing a Master’s in Human Nutrition, finishing a one-year supervised dietetic internship, and passing the national board exam. Since then, I’ve worked extensively in women’s health, PCOS, diabetes, oncology, and geriatric nutrition.
My passion is helping women with PCOS understand their bodies, take control of their symptoms, and prevent long-term complications like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and fatty liver disease.
My approach is non-restrictive, culturally inclusive, and rooted in science — because healing should never mean giving up the foods you love. As a proud Mexican-American woman, I believe hormone health can be joyful, empowering, and deeply connected to our cultura.
